Seminole Science Charter School (SSCS) and a Halloween attraction in Altamonte Springs are celebrating a successful charity fundraiser. A Petrified Forest recently hosted Kids Day in which families could enjoy costumes, games, food trucks and trick-or-treating. SSCS students and staff donated more than 24,000 pieces of candy to be distributed during the event. Ticket sales benefited the Make-A-Wish Foundation, with $5,513 being collected for the organization.
