The Salvation Army's iconic Red Kettle Campaign has returned to Seminole County marking the start of the organization's most critical fundraising effort of the year. With a goal of raising $260,000.00, this year's campaign will support essential community services, including food assistance, emergency shelter, financial aid, youth programs, and disaster relief services.

When:   November 14th @3:30 pm

Where:   Sanford Downtown Square
      114 Magnolia Ave
    Sanford, FL

Music Guest:  The Seminole High School Gospel Choir

The funds raised through the Red Kettle Campaign provide a lifeline for local families facing unexpected financial hardships. Beyond providing Christmas assistance to families in need, these donations ensure The Salvation Army can maintain vital year-round programs and social services that strengthen our community.

"The Salvation Army remains steadfast in our commitment to supporting those in need, and the Red Kettle campaign serves as the cornerstone of our funding," said Major Don Wildish from The Salvation Army of Seminole County. "Every contribution to our Red Kettles helps ensure that families won't face the impossible choice between paying for housing, food, or medical care."

The Red Kettle campaign will run through December 24, with kettles stationed at 32 locations throughout Seminole County.

The campaign offers meaningful volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups looking to give back during the holiday season. Bell ringers play a crucial role in the campaign's success while spreading joy and community spirit.
