Pet of the Week- Chicka is a beautiful red and white Pitbull who came to us in September as an owner surrender through no fault of her own. She’s a sweet, happy girl who loves people and does well with other dogs, especially calmer ones. Chicka has joined our playgroups and participated in Hounds Around Town, where she rode nicely in the car and walked great on a leash. She’s ready to find a loving home where her gentle, joyful nature can shine. Adoption hours are Monday through Friday, 12 to 6 p.m. & Saturday, 10 to 4 p.m..
