Jacqueline Elaine Foster, affectionately known as “Jackie,” 65, of Sanford, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at AdventHealth Hospice Care Inpatient Unit, Altamonte Springs, Florida. She was born in Sanford, Florida, on March 26, 1959, to the late Armetta Jones Foster and the late James E. Foster, Sr. She attended Seminole County Public Schools, Sanford, Florida, and graduated from Seminole High School, Class of 1979. She was a member of Calvary Temple of Praise, Sanford, Florida. Jacqueline was a custodian for Seminole Community College, Sanford, Florida, for several years. She was a free-spirited person who found joy in shopping, vacationing, traveling, and the beach. Her family and friends will truly miss Jacqueline. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents, mother, Armetta Foster; father, James E. Foster, Sr.; and siblings, Vincent Foster, Geneva Faison, Nadine Williams, Theron Foster, and Ralph Boykins. Jacqueline is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Nicole S. Foster Williams (Charles, Jr.); loved as her own daughters, Shomorice Rivers and Monique Williams; 5 grandchildren, Rimariya Cole, Janiya Franklin, Charla Williams, Dakai Martin, and Amara Hillery; siblings, Hazel Foster, Anthony Foster, McArthur Foster, James E. Foster, Jr., Arletha Davis, Delores Foster, Kevie Bailey, Leonard Foster (Theresa), Carolyn Foster, and Sheila Foster; uncle, Tyrone Hatcher; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sorrowing friends. The visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, from 5 PM to 7 PM at Calvary Temple of Praise, 2020 McCracken Road, Sanford, Florida 32771, with a family wake beginning at 5:30 PM. The Homegoing Celebration Service for Jacqueline Elaine Foster will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 11 AM at Calvary Temple of Praise, 2020 McCracken Road, Sanford, Florida 32771, with Pastor Shawndric McGregor, officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 1975 West 25th Street, Sanford, Florida 32771.
