Pharmacist, Andy Kimmel of Greenwood Pharmacy has proudly and competently served the Central Florida area with all its medication needs for over 10 years at his current location in Lake Mary.
Attending Long Island University in Brooklyn, New York, Kimmel received his degree as a Pharmacist there.

This New York born gentleman came to Seminole County some 20 years ago and knew he wanted to put his roots here.
From the tender age of 13, Kimmel began his love of medicine working in a pharmacy sweeping floors and dusting shelves. From that time on, he was set on becoming a Pharmacist one day.
“I have been a pharmacist for over 45 years and know the pharmacy business very well,” he said. “We keep up with all the changes and challenges the industry has.”
In fact, Kimmel added that his drive to continue in this industry has been consistent for all of the 45 years he has labored.
“I have always wanted to help people and giving them what they need to understand and obtain their medications and to improve their health,” he said. “At Greenwood Pharmacy we have great prices and a great staff.”
In fact, Kimmel shared that aside from filling prescriptions, Greenwood Pharmacy offers free local delivery. The business also sells wheelchairs and surgical supplies as well as offering some vaccines, surgical compression stockings and patient counseling.
Kimmel was also very clear about the difference in Greenwood Pharmacy and other competitors.
“We take the time to know our patients, answer all their questions, use manufacturer coupons to help reduce their costs, offer free delivery and make them feel they are a real person and not just another face,” he said. “We know our patients by their names and treat them like family.”
The family-owned business promotes their unique approach and asks that “people give us a try to see the difference a mom and pop local community pharmacy makes.”
