Orlando Health Women's Institute is excited to announce the launch of its new mobile maternity clinic, set to begin operations in April 2026. This innovative program aims to provide comprehensive maternal health services to pregnant and postpartum women with limited access to care.

The mobile clinic will offer a broad range of services, including routine prenatal visits, ultrasounds, health screenings for conditions such as hypertension and diabetes, mental health support, vaccinations, and access to community resources. It will also help overcome barriers such as transportation and childcare, ensuring women receive timely and adequate care.

Dr. Anjali Vyas, senior vice president of Orlando Health and president of Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies, stated, "This mobile clinic represents a significant step forward in bridging healthcare gaps and improving outcomes for women and babies in Central Florida. Women who use the mobile clinic are significantly more likely to begin prenatal care early, which leads to better health outcomes for both mothers and babies."

Dr. Lori Boardman, assistant vice president of Orlando Health and executive director of Orlando Health Women's Institute Center for Maternal Health, added, "Clinically, this initiative will transform how we deliver care, ensuring that all women, regardless of their circumstances, have access to the quality maternal health services they deserve."

The mobile clinic will initially serve patients at the Rosemont Community Center and the John H. Jackson Neighborhood Center, with more locations to follow. This program exemplifies Orlando Health’s commitment to advancing maternal health and fostering healthier communities.
