The City of Sanford, in partnership with the Sanford Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), is
excited to announce a new collaboration with Retail Strategies to provide virtual, no-cost, on-demand
Small Business Support training for small, locally owned businesses throughout the City of Sanford.
This innovative support program offers business owners convenient access to self-paced training videos,
downloadable resources, and a peer-to-peer chat forum through a user-friendly learning management
system. The program is designed to help local businesses strengthen operations, plan for growth, and
adapt in an evolving economic environment. The training platform features five targeted learning paths,
allowing participants to focus on topics most relevant to their business needs while learning at their
own pace.
“Small businesses are the backbone of our community, and this partnership provides Sanford’s
entrepreneurs with tools and resources to help grow and thrive. By offering flexible, on-demand
training, investing directly in the success of our local business community,” said Mayor Art Woodruff.
Registration for the Small Business Support training is simple and accessible. Businesses interested in
participating or learning more about the program are encouraged to contact Pamela Lynch, Economic
Development Program Manager, City of Sanford at [email protected] for additional
information.
Sanford Mainstreet and the Greater Sanford Chamber of Commerce will provide additional assistance
and support to participating businesses.
