Meals on Wheels, Etc., has been providing seniors in Seminole County with nutritious meals and support services since 1973. In 2026, one health organization is making it easier for the nonprofit to do that.
Meals on Wheels, Etc., today announced that Orlando Health would be the 2026 sponsor of its largest and most successful neighborhood dining site, located in Casselberry.
The neighborhood dining program provides nutritious meals, recreational activities and informative speakers to seniors 60 and older at set centers Monday through Friday. Wheels on Wheels, Etc., currently serves two sites in Seminole County.
“Most people know us for the home delivered meals program, but if you’ve ever been to one of our neighborhood dining sites, you’d know that they are truly a community hub for these seniors,” said Mike McKee, executive director of Meals on Wheels, Etc. “They mean feeding our seniors, body and soul. We’re beyond thankful to Orlando Health for supporting these efforts in Casselberry.”
As part of the sponsorship, Orlando Health’s name and logo will be displayed during the daily programs at the Casselberry Recreation Center. The organization has long been a partner with Meals on Wheels, Etc., and they plan to continue regular involvement at the site.

We know that the nutritious meals and the connection they provide make a difference in the quality of life of our neighbors.”
Meals on Wheels, Etc., also has a neighborhood dining site in Sanford. In addition to dining services, the organization provides weatherization, transportation, and home services.
