Addition Financial Scholarship Program

To mark the 20^th anniversary of Addition Financial’s scholarship program, this year the opportunity is open to more students than ever before, through the Addition Financial Foundation.

Named after Addition Financial Credit Union's former President and CEO, the Joseph A. Melbourne Jr. Annual Scholarship Program will award college scholarships to ten students in all: eight to high school seniors and two master's level scholarships.

Each scholarship is worth $2,500 for the 2026-2027 school year. 

Three Seminole County students won scholarships last year!

To apply, high school applicants must be:

1. Be accepted to a 4-year university, college or trade school;
2. Have a current cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher;
3. Be a primary or joint member of Addition Financial Credit Union at time of application;
4. Answer two short essay questions (100 words or less);
5. Include a letter of recommendation.

Applications are accepted from now through February 28th, 2026. Winners are selected and notified by April 30, 2026.
