Led by Seminole and Lake Mary high schools sweeping both the boys and girls titles in Class 7A-District 2 and Class 7A-District 3, respectively, local schools claimed 10 Championships in 2025-2026 FHSAA District Soccer Tournaments last week.
A total of 14 County teams had advanced to Championship Games and when the Regional Quarterfinal qualifiers were announced, 15 local teams _ Lake Brantley girls drew a wild card pick from Class 7A District 3 _ had earned invitations
In addition to the Rams and Fighting Seminoles, other District Champions were the Lyman, Orangewood Christian and The Master’s Academy boys and The Geneva School, Oviedo and Trinity Prep girls.
The Regional Quarterfinals began on Monday or Tuesday for Class 1A-thru-Class 3A teams, while Class 4A-thru-Class 7A squads will begin play on Thursday or Friday (Feb. 5-6).
