February 7, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., a special community event dedicated to showcasing the
talents of young entrepreneurs ages 18 and under.
The Mini Makers Market provides a supportive and creative space for children and teens to sell their
handmade goods, artwork, crafts, and original creations. From jewelry and art to toys, baked goods, and
inventive designs, each booth represents a small business run by a young maker learning firsthand what it
means to be an entrepreneur.
“This event is all about encouraging creativity, confidence, and real-world skills,” said Josh Gunderson,
Marketing & Events Director for Oviedo Mall. “These kids aren’t just selling products, they’re learning
how to market themselves, interact with customers, and take pride in something they created.”
The market will take place inside Oviedo Mall, offering families a fun, indoor shopping experience while
supporting youth-led businesses. Parents and guardians will be present with each Mini Maker, creating a
safe and family-friendly environment for both participants and guests.
Admission is free, and shoppers are encouraged to browse, meet the young creators, and support their small
businesses. The event is open to the public and ideal for families, educators, and anyone who loves seeing
the next generation of innovators shine.
