Mushroom Foraging Class
Saturday, Feb. 28, 9 to 11 a.m., Ed & Imogene Yarborough Nature Center, 3485 N. County Road 426, Geneva. $8 per person for children ages 7+ - must be accompanied by an adult. Do you know which mushrooms are edible? Learn to identify common mushrooms found in Central Florida. The session will feature an informative classroom presentation & discussion, complete with photos of local mushrooms, followed by a hike to search for these flavorful fungi. Critter Quest: World Wildlife Day
