It took a little longer and much harder work than they would have liked, but the Lake Mary High School girls soccer team (20-2-1) were able to prevail in Penalty Kicks _ 4-to-3 _ to and defended their Class 7A State Championship for the second straight year over Cypress Bay (21-2) on a cold evening at Spec Martin Stadium in DeLand last Wednesday.
