Sanford Pints n’ Paws Craft Beer Festival will celebrate its 14th year returning on Saturday, March 28.
Pints n’ Paws has been the longest-running signature event in Historic Sanford and has officially raised $963,000 for local pet rescue organizations.
“Since 2012, Pints n’ Paws has raised nearly a million dollars for local pet rescue charities, and every single dollar represents a second chance for an animal in need,” said the Event Organizer, Paul Williams.
He also added that the mission has been to fund adoption programs and offer money for lifesaving medical care.
"Every pint poured helps us get closer to that million-dollar mark for our local rescues," says Paul Williams, event organizer. "It’s a testament to the heart of the Sanford community and our love for our four-legged friends. Pints n’ Paws isn’t just a festival — it’s a lifeline.”
Williams also shared that this cause is incredibly close to his heart because he has seen firsthand how hard the rescue community works behind the scenes to save lives.
“ It’s proof of what happens when a community comes together for something bigger than itself,” he added. “Local businesses, volunteers, families, and animal lovers all show up with one shared purpose: to raise more money, save more lives, and create even greater impact each year. That’s what makes this event so special — it’s compassion in action.”
The festival transforms the iconic “L” between Celery City Craft and West End Trading Co. into a high-energy, dog-friendly street party from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event is free to attend and open to all ages, rain or shine.
Event Highlights - The Poster Pup: This year’s official winner, Bokey, leads the celebration, representing the second chances and community support that define the festival. Live Entertainment: Experience live music across two stages, local vendors, and a variety of food trucks. Special Guest: Local news favorite Trooper Steve will serve as the event’s emcee. Craft Beer Sampling: Ticket holders enjoy unlimited craft beer sampling from Noon to 4 p.m.
