Advanced Plant Propagation Workshops

Saturday, April 11, 1:30 to 4 p.m., 250 West County Home Road, Sanford. Cost: $28.52. Propagating your own plants is a great way to save money & grow unusual things you wouldn't normally see at the garden center. Come to class prepared to get your hands dirty or bring gloves. Food Truck Battle & Concert in the Park 

Saturday, April 11, 4 to 9 p.m., Reiter Park, 311 W. Warren Ave., Longwood. Longwood’s biggest food truck night of the spring with a Food Truck Battle. Over 10 food trucks will go head-to-head as judges taste test to crown a winner. The Caribbean Crew Steel Drum Band will perform island vibes from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The event will be held in conjunction with the Longwood Cruise-In Car Show.

Museum of Geneva History

Sunday, April 12 & 26, 2 to 4 p.m., Museum of Geneva History, 165 First Street, Geneva. The Geneva Historical Society has two special displays in the Museum  or by appointment 407-349-5697 (leave a message).  First: The History of Black Geneva has been up for a couple months. The newest display is Geneva Fashion Through the Decades with 7 mannikins dressed in clothing donated by Genevans through the years from 7 different decades. Come see & read about the fashions of the decades & after you have looked, try out a quiz of old pictures of Genevans on the wall to see if you can guess their decade. 


 

UCF MFA Exhibition
