Arrest Report April 8, 2026

The Speed of Sound ends at the Jail

On April 1, 2026, deputies with the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office arrested Justin Alejandro Diaz after observing him traveling at over 100 mph on State Road 417 near Oviedo.

Radar confirmed a speed of 104 mph in a 70 mph zone. The driver was also seen making unsafe lane changes without signaling while passing multiple vehicles.

Diaz was stopped near Lake Jessup in Sanford and charged with Super Speed (100+ mph) under Florida law. Bond was set at $500.

Records indicate a prior similar stop earlier in 2026.

Not a Good Influence

A Longwood man, John Jasper River Alexander Strongman (31), was arrested on April 1, 2026, following a disturbance at his residence on Sheridan Avenue. Police responded after multiple calls involving alleged threats and ongoing conflict between the defendant and a female victim.

According to the report, Strongman repeatedly attempted to contact the victim and her associate despite being told to stop. Officers observed behavior consistent with harassment, including yelling outside the victim’s bedroom door and sending unwanted messages.

The victim told police she felt unsafe and feared the defendant, also alleging concerns about privacy due to cameras placed inside the residence.

Based on the investigation, Strongman was charged with burglary with assault or battery (no bond) and taken into custody.

The defendant isn’t new to the system — records indicate this marks his 11th arrest. Combined with an occupation listed as “influencer,” the case reads less like a one-off dispute and more like a repeat appearance.

Not exactly trending in the right direction.
