The Stuffed Felt Birds Workshop event was taught by new instructor and Woman’s Club of Sanford Member Amber Babcock, who holds a Fine Arts degree from UCF.
This hands-on, beginner-friendly class taught participants to stitch up two colorful felt birds, just like these adorable creations pictured. Participants chose from Florida favorites like the bold red cardinal, brilliant indigo bunting, painted bunting or created their own one-of-a-kind backyard beauty.
All materials included - Two birds included (because crafting is better in pairs), optional sticks and rope provided for a hanging display and additional birds “adopted” at the event.
Every stitch supported scholarships for local women in our community. Crafting with WCOS, you’re crafting for a cause.
The event was held at the Women’s Club of Sanford, 309 South Oak Ave, Sanford. It was a time to grab a friend and flock together for an afternoon of creativity, laughter and community.
