- Haley Whidden, our local nominee, was awarded the Dzuras Family Scholarship by the Florida Retired Educators Foundation. A senior at Hagerty High School, Haley is looking forward to continuing a family tradition by attending Florida State University, where she will major in education.
- Oviedo’s Fire Department welcomed the donation of teddy bears from Kerry McRae.
- Member Linda Crawford and husband Tom, a retired firefighter, delivered bears to stations in Chuluota and Geneva.
