Orlando-Sanford International Airport (SFB), Villages Honor Flight, and Honor Flight Central Florida recently hosted and supported two Honor Flights honoring Central Florida veterans with travel to Washington, D.C., where they visited the memorials dedicated to their service.
Allegiant Flight #4915 departed SFB carrying 153 veterans, guardians and support staff participating in the Villages Honor Flight. The return flight, Allegiant #4916, arrived later that evening, where veterans were welcomed home by airport staff and community supporters.
Allegiant Flight #4900 departed SFB carrying 60 veterans plus guardians and support staff participating in the Honor Flight Central Florida mission. The return flight, Allegiant #4901, arrived later that evening, where veterans were welcomed home by airport staff and community supporters.
SFB is honored to support Villages Honor Flight and Honor Flight Central Florida by providing a respectful, seamless, and memorable experience for participating veterans. Airport teams will support the missions through coordinated terminal operations, accessibility services, hospitality, and welcome-home activities.
These Honor Flights underscore SFB’s ongoing commitment to honoring those who have served and ensuring Central Florida veterans receive the recognition they deserve.
