Sanford Police Investigate Target Theft

Sanford Police Investigate Target Theft

Police say the suspects worked together to steal items from a Target store in Sanford last month. The department is investigating a theft that occurred on June 22 at the Super Target located at 1201 WP Ball Blvd. Two individuals stole an Epson printer and a Razor hoverboard, according to the statement from Sanford Police Department.

The surveillance footage shows the individual in the dark Reebok shirt pointing at the items, instructing the other individual wearing a purple shirt which items to take. The individual in the purple shirt then takes the printer and hoverboard and leaves without paying for either of them. The footage then shows the two women meet outside and depart in a silver minivan.

The police department posted pictures of the suspects to encourage public help and hashtags  “#FYIThePublicLibraryHasAPrinterWithoutJailTimeInvolved #ThePurplePrinterPicker.”

The Sanford Police Department urges anyone with additional information to contact them.
