Seminole County just "published" a notice that it is going to raise your water and sewer bill. Where did it "publish" it? On the county website, that's where.

Who has the time to look at an obscure website? Republicans are supposed to be for transparency. Hiding a raise in your water and sewer bill does not meet the notice standards before the internet came along. One commissioner said you have to weigh the cost of putting legal notices in newspapers versus the need for due process. Do we need that kind of attitude on the Seminole County Commission? Might as well elect Democrats.

Next, the county is going to put the delinquent tax notices and sales exclusively online.

Highland Park

Deltona on Steroids

Sanford has many 1920s boom subdivisions. Mayfair, Dreamwold, Wynnewood, San Lanta, etc.

All of the above had some homes built during the boom, Highland Park? None.

Where is Highland Park? it is in Sanford Heights, which is the area south of the Lake Charm branch of the railroad that crosses the city just north of the elevated ridge.

Highland Park is located just south of 20th Street. Heading south, Elm Avenue dead ends into it and reappears after you get through the subdivision if you get lucky and make the right turns.

As indicated above, it is Deltona on steroids. It is a labyrinth, a maze. Use Google or Apple Maps and you will see which way you need to go to get to lower Elm or Myrtle or Oak or Laurel Avenues.
