Hey there, Sanford! If y'all are looking for something truly special to do this weekend, I’ve got just the ticket. This Saturday, May 16th, from noon to 4:00 PM, we are incredibly proud to host the Future Entrepreneurs of Sanford event right over at the beautiful Celery City Craft Courtyard, 114 S. Palmetto Avenue, Sanford.
I’ve actually got a bit of an inside peek into this entrepreneurial world. The inspiration for this whole gathering sparked from watching my 11-year-old daughter, Sadie, hustle to build her very own bead and cotton candy businesses. Seeing her drive—along with a perfectly timed nudge from my good friend Jennifer Wofford suggesting we create a real venue for kids like her—made us realize we needed to make this happen.
We designed this event specifically for youth aged 16 and under to set up shop and sell the unique goods they’ve made and produced. And let me tell y'all, the response has been amazing. We are completely sold out with 22 uniquely talented young entrepreneurs ready to show off their hard work!
Learning the craft of business takes grit, and I’ll be out there doing the best I can to coach these young individuals as we plan for more of these events in the future. But honestly, the most important ingredient for their success is you.
I’m hoping all our local neighbors will come out to support these kids. Come do some #sanfording with us, grab a refreshment, and help grow the future of our amazing city. There is nothing quite like the feeling of making that first sale, so let's show these young folks that their hometown stands behind them!
See y'all there,
Paul Williams
