Erin Victoria (McMahan) Luckeydoo passed away peacefully on May 14, 2026, at the age of 55. Born to Paula and Edward McMahan in Clinton, Maryland on June 17, 1970. Erin made Florida her home in 1992 and never looked back.
For 25 years, Erin served the communities of Lake Mary, Winter Springs, and Apopka as a 911 dispatcher, a career she loved deeply. She was the calm voice on the other end of the line when people needed it most, and she carried that same steadiness and warmth into every corner of her life.
Those who knew Erin knew her laugh first. Her outgoing spirit and quick sense of humor filled every room she walked into, and her capacity for love had no limit. She had a gift for making people feel like family; because to her, they were.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Mike Luckeydoo, and their two sons, Jake and Chris, who were the great pride of her life.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Apopka Community Center. Come as you are, not in formal wear. Erin would have wanted it that way.
