* Today (Saturday) _ The J.W. Performance Transmission, Inc. NHRA ET Bracket Points Series. Events include Novice Jr. Dragster (6-9 year olds), Intermediate Jr. Dragster (10-12 year olds), Pro Sportsman Jr. Dragster (13-17 year olds), Jr. Street (13-18 year olds), Pro (No Box) ET, Super Pro, Quick 32, Pro Motorcycle and Sportsman. Gates open at 8 a.m. and Time Trials at 10 a.m. to be followed by Eliminations. Admission is $20 (kids 10-and-Under free).
* Wheels Up Wednesday _ “All Welcome Test and Tune and Grudge Racing” with gates opening at 6 p.m. and racing from 6 p.m.-to-10:30 p.m. $20 General Admission or $30 to race.
* Full Throttle Friday _ “All Welcome Test and Tune and Grudge Racing” with gates opening at 4 p.m. and racing from 6 p.m.-to-11 p.m. $20 General Admission or $30 to race.

SpeedWorld is located 17 miles east of Orlando in Bithlo at 19164 East Colonial Drive, between Orlando and Titusville on Highway 50 at the 520 Cocoa Cutoff.
NEW SMYRNA SPEEDWAY
New Smyrna Speedway will be hosting the Chance Jewels Racing Pro Late Model Challenge Series Twin 50s, plus feature races for the Sportsman, Super Stocks, Bomber B and 602 Tour Modifieds, today (Saturday).
Pit gates open at 2 p.m. with Division Practice from 3:30 p.m.-to-5 p.m. Ticket booths and grandstand gates open at 3:30 p.m. (Early Bird Discount 3:30 p.m.-to-6 p.m. - $5 Off General Admission; No other Discounts will be taken during the Early Bird Discount). Heat Races are at 6 p.m., followed by Chance Jewels Racing Pro Late Models Qualifying and Feature Racing at 7:30 p.m.
Adult admission is $21 (reserved seating is $25, the top six (6) rows of the Main Grandstand) with all seniors (65+) and military (with valid ID for proof of age or Military affiliation) admitted for $19. Kids 12-17 are $6(No Early Bird Discount). Kids 11 years of age and under are free of charge (MUST be accompanied by paying Adult to qualify for Free Admission). Pits - Members ($25), Non-Members ($35).
The track is located at the corner of SR. 44 and CR 415, between New Smyrna, DeLand and Daytona.

VOLUSIA SPEEDWAY PARK
Volusia Speedway Park in DeLeon Springs/Barberville will return from a long layoff on Saturday to host “Back to School Night”, featuring the 602 Late Models, 604 Late Models, DIRTcar UMP Modifieds and Thunder Stocks.
Grandstand gates and ticket sales open at 4 p.m., Hot Laps at 6 p.m., followed by Opening Ceremonies and Racing.
General Admission is $12, Seniors, Military and First Responder are $10 and Youth 12 & Under are Free. Pit Pass is $35 and Youth 12 & Under Pit Pass is $25. The Ticket Phone is (844) 347-8849.

UCF WOMEN’S SOCCER
The first athletic event of the 2024-2025 school year on the UCF campus is tonight (Saturday) when the women’s soccer team host Miami in an Exhibition Game at 7 p.m. at the UCF Soccer Complex. Admission is free to all.

ORLANDO PRIDE
The Orlando Pride (0-0-2, 3 points) will have a big break before gearing back up for the NWSL Regular Season. The team is set to travel to Houston take on the Dash on Friday, August 23. The match is set to kick off at 8 p.m. and can be seen on Prime Video.
