Starting Saturday, June 6, guests can step inside the tortoise habitat for an unforgettable up-close experience with one of the longest-living species on Earth.

Offered Saturdays and Sundays at 11 a.m., the interactive encounter gives guests the chance to meet, interact with and snap photos alongside Angel, the Zoo’s lovable Aldabra tortoise, while learning fascinating facts from the Zoo’s Animal Care team.

Tortoise Encounters are $20 for Annual Passholders and $25 for non-passholders. Space is limited to 10 participants per encounter and advance online purchase is recommended. Guests should arrive at the encounter check-in area at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled experience.
