Elementary and middle schoolers at Seminole Science Charter School showcased their talent, creativity and passion at the annual STEM Fair in May. They researched scientific hypotheses and developed presentations in multiple subjects, such as behavioral and social science, the environment and microbiology. In total, 17 students won first place in their respective categories. Recognized projects included an analysis on the use of biodegradable hydrogels in the agricultural industry and whether a person’s age impacts their ability to detect images generated by artificial intelligence.
