Four years ago, I quit my job, signed a lease, and launched an innovative new nonprofit organization in Longwood, serving an unmet need in the area of technology.
It's truly amazing how far we've come. Since we cut the ribbon and opened the doors, Christian Tech Center Ministries has already given away over 3,500 free computers.
The devices we give have made a big impact in the lives of our neighbors in hardship. Students from kindergarten to college having the opportunity for academic success. The unemployed now having the ability to create resumes and apply for work. And downstream impacts through other charities using them for case management, community labs, STEM learning programs, disaster relief and more.
Our efforts to bridge the digital divide through our programs have made some of the biggest immediate impacts for the quality of life of many across Central Florida.
But there is still more work to be done. As we continue to accelerate our production, here's how you can help:
