The Most Powerful Navy in the World?
That's right, it is not the United States of America or China. It is the country that a little over a year ago, our excellent Vice President and his boss, said didn't have any cards.
Now it has all the cards! Its drones and missiles are methodically destroying Russia's infrastructure and the logistics supporting its forces in Ukraine, isolating Putin's pride and joy, Crimea, and telling Belarus it better lay low,
With the help of Silicon Valley, it is the most powerful country in Europe!
The most powerful navy? How does that work? Use Google Earth, do you see any Ukrainian Navy? Stay with me for a moment, the world has suddenly changed. The concepts of the last 85 years no longer work. Big aircraft carriers carrying thousands of sailors and expensive jet aircraft are a liability, not an asset. They are sitting ducks. Sailing them through the Mediterranean is suicide. Ukraine has gone the other way.
Imagine an aircraft carrier the size of a 20 foot pontoon boat, with an electric motor, no personnel on board, remotely controlled, with a hatch on the back end. The cargo is a bunch of drones.
Picture this, using this fine piece of modern naval architecture, Ukraine could stuff a bunch of them in a shipping container. When the ship arrives in the United States, a pickup truck backs a boat trailer up to the container, gets the world's most dangerous aircraft carrier and hauls it down the highway to whatever boat ramp is convenient.
Find one on the James River near Norfolk, launch it and within five minutes, all our carriers that are lounging around, are sunk. If it gets destroyed after that, so what? It didn't cost more than $50,000.
Just go back and get another one from the shipping container and launch it in the Reflecting Pool. That will get our excellent Vice President and his boss's attention.
