Newcomers of Central Florida, Inc.'s September 19 luncheon program will include the club's popular Penny Auction, an opportunity for attendees to win a wide assortment of gifts that are new but unloved by other members. The annual event will be held this year at Heathrow Country Club, 1200 Bridgewater Drive, Lake Mary, FL 32746.
Members, guests and prospective members are welcome. Luncheon tickets are priced at $30. Members and guests are encouraged to bring two new gift items (each worth $5-$10 or more) to contribute to the penny auction. For each item contributed (up to two maximum), the donor will receive a sheet of perforated tickets which she can use to try and win gifts donated by other people. Additional ticket sheets can be purchased at the luncheon. There will also be a variety of door-prize drawings.
