Young learners are making a meaningful impact in their community while learning lessons that extend far beyond the classroom.
Preschoolers at Primrose School of Avalon Park, Primrose School of Lake Mary Heathrow and Primrose School of Longwood at Wekiva Springs raised $12,513 through their annual Spring Fling fundraiser, part of a nationwide effort that brings communities together to support children and families in need.
Since 2023, Primrose schools across Orland have contributed more than $25,708 through Spring Fling fundraisers to support local nonprofits and community organizations.
How the school community stepped up:
- Families, children, teachers and local partners came together to support local organizations working to strengthen families and protect children across Orlando.
- Funds will directly support UCF CARD (UCF CARD provides consultative support to individuals with autism spectrum disorders and related disabilities) and Advent Health for Children West Lake Learning Center
- The fundraiser helped introduce young children to the importance of generosity, compassion and giving back to their community.
