Seminole County Public Schools, The Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools, state legislators and community leaders recently celebrated the launch of the Foundation's new Mobile Supply Store, an innovative program designed to bring free classroom supplies directly to teachers at high-need schools throughout Seminole County.

Building upon the success of the Foundation's Tools 4 Seminole Schools Free Teacher Store, the Mobile Supply Store will expand access to essential classroom resources for educators who may not be able to visit the Sanford-based location. The program was made possible through a $75,000 legislative appropriation sponsored by Senator Jason Brodeur and Representative David Smith, funding the purchase and outfitting of the mobile unit.

The event iwas held at Altamonte Elementary School and ncluded remarks from district leaders, legislators, and Foundation representatives, followed by a ceremonial ribbon-cutting and the distribution of books and supply bags to students and teachers participating in summer learning programs.
