he City of Casselberry Recreation Department will host two exciting outdoor activities Saturday, July 18.
Kids Tryathlon
The first annual Kids Tryathlon will be held at the Casselberry Aquatics Center and Park, 806 Mark David Blvd., Saturday, July 18 from 7 to 10 a.m. The event introduces children, ages 6 to 13, to a “TRY-Athlon,” where participants will swim, bike and run through a beginner friendly course designed to build confidence and encourage kids to try something new.
Registration for the Kids Tryathlon is currently closed; however, the community is encouraged to come out and cheer the athletes as they complete the course.
Due to the event, the walking and biking trails at this park will be closed to the public during the morning event hours. Trail hours will resume once the event has concluded.

Each year, to encourage healthy lifestyles and recreational activity, the city hosts Get Outdoors Casselberry. The event will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, at Secret Lake Park, 200 N. Triplet Lake Drive.
