Seminole County Public Schools (SCPS) has once again earned an
“A” rating as a district for the 2025-2026 school year, as reported in the 2026
Florida Department of Education School Grades release. In addition, SCPS is
ranked #1 when compared to Central Florida Districts, #1 when compared to
the 14 largest districts in Florida, and 11th out of all Florida’s 67 Districts.
Seminole County Public Schools continues to earn recognition as a state-
designated academically high-performing district, a distinction made possible
by the success of our students. We are so proud of their incredible
accomplishments, and we also want to acknowledge the dedicated and
passionate teachers, administrators, and staff who also make this possible.
While school grades provide one measure of achievement, they represent only
part of the story. True success is built through strong partnerships among
schools, families, businesses, and the broader community, all working together
to support student growth and opportunity. Coupled with a commitment to
continuous improvement and innovation, these partnerships help ensure every
student has the support needed to thrive.

the hard work taking place in classrooms and schools across our district every
day,” said Superintendent Serita D. Beamon. “I am grateful to our dedicated
teachers and employees, engaged families, supportive community members,
and valued business partners who share our commitment to helping every
student succeed. This recognition belongs to all of us and reflects what is
possible when a community comes together in support of its children.”
