Suspicious Socks

A man was arrested after a traffic stop led to a vehicle search in Altamonte Springs. According to an arrest report, the man was driving a dark red pickup truck with no tag lights. Once pulled over, the police searched a duffel bag that had suspicious socks. One sock had a stem and clear plastic container with white residue and the other sock had a pill bottle with Klonopin, a controlled substance. Once transported to the John E. Polk Jail, a bag of cocaine was found in the right side of his underwear. He now faces drug and smuggling charges. 

 

A Saucy Situation

A man was arrested after throwing spaghetti sauce on his mother in St. Petersburg according to police. Police were called to a home on Wahoo Drive last Sunday, around 8 p.m. The man was identified as 41-year-old Anthony Fiacco and said the sauce was thrown after an argument. According to the arrest affidavit, the sauce was thrown when the incident became physical. Fiacco was found hiding in the bushes after originally fleeing the scene. He was arrested on charges of battery and resisting arrest without violence. 

 

Tag Swapping

A woman was arrested after stealing $300 worth of items from a Target store in Flagler County. On Friday around 6 p.m., deputies responded to the store regarding a burglary. According to Fox35, the report stated the store’s loss prevention officer said she saw the woman switching price tags on items with cheaper tags. The items included a price tag from a pencil box being placed on a Lego set. She scanned $19.50 instead of the correct total, $268.48.
