DYLAN CREWS

Lake Mary High School alumnus and former Sanford River Rats star Dylan Crews has made an immediate impact since making his Major League debut with the Washington Nationals on Monday.

After going 0-for-3 with a walk in his first game, the outfielder collected his first MLB hit, lining a double off the bottom of the left field wall and later had a single, a stolen base and a run scored (2-4, double, run) in a 4-2 victory over the New York Yankees.

On Wednesday he was moved into the leadoff spot and launched the second pitch he saw in the bottom of the first inning deep into the bull pen in left and later lined another RBI double off the left center field wall and finished the night 2-for-4, home run, double, run scored, 2 RBI in a 5-2 victory.
