Toyota Car Show

Sunday, September 8, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Elev8, Seminole Towne Center Mall, Sanford. Fun Adventure Parks  features Toyota automobiles, in partnership with Freddy Colon of El Encno Auto Entertainment of Oviedo. Automotive & food vendors featuring a myriad of fun activities including go-cart racing, bowling, laser tag, great food & a bar.

 

Seminole Audubon  Meeting

Sunday, Sept. 8, 2 p.m., IFAS Extension Education Building, 250 W. County Home Road, Sanford. The monthly meeting of the Seminole Audubon Society. A representative from Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) will share facts about the life cycle and behaviors of Florida black bears. Learn the best ways to both avoid interaction with bears and appreciate them safely from a distance. Keeping them wild and away from human use areas is a responsibility we all must share. Museum of Geneva    History

Sunday, Sept. 8 & 22, 2 to 4 p.m., 165 1st St., Geneva or by appointment 407-349-5697. Free, but donations appreciated. There are 2 large rooms full of such things as local archaeological finds, pioneer crafts, Ft. Lane search team finds, family genealogical records, Civil War info., and a violano &  Edison cylinder player (both play). Learn about the story of Geneva and the Lincoln Conspiracy. Buy T-shirts, caps, prints, and history books!  Good for a group or individuals.

Entertainment, DJ, kids zone and other fun activities for local families as well as information on services and resources that may not be known to the Hispanic Community.
