Newcomers of Central Florida will celebrate Halloween early this year with an October 17 "Monster Mash"-themed luncheon and costume contest at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 225 Shorecrest Drive, Altamonte Springs.
The luncheon program will include spooky musical entertainment by John and Theresa Segers, a talented husband-and-wife singing duo. Theresa Segers sang with the Orlando Opera for 16 years, and John Segers directed the Orlando Gilbert and Sullivan Players.
Members, guests and prospective members are welcome. Luncheon tickets are priced at $30. Members and guests are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes and accessories. Prizes will be awarded in a variety of categories.
