As a Follower of Christ
The blatant disregard
The challenging madness
The conjuring laughter
The cynicism
The discouragement
The mutters and teasing
The persecution
The poking fun at
The putting to shame
The tirade
My heart depletes low;
From the supposed defeat,
I now know what it means to be meek.
