Teen Great Pumpkin Paint-off

Monday, Oct. 7., 6 to 7:30 p.m., North Branch Library, 150 N. Palmetto Ave., Sanford. Paint a pumpkin to look like a children’s book character. Library will display the masterpieces throughout the library in a scavenger hunt for kids. Kids can also vote for their favorite pumpkin & teen who paints the most popular pumpkin wins a $10 cash prize. For teens ages 13 to 19. Registration required. Call 407-665-1620.

Museum of Geneva    History

NextStep Walk-n-Roll-a-Thon

Saturday, Oct. 12, 5 to 8 p.m., Cranes Roost, Altamonte Springs. Come out, walk or roll and provide support for what every person living with paralysis deserves: an opportunity to recover their maximum potential. For our 15th Annual Walk-n-Roll-a-Thon, we will continue to raise awareness and funds for paralysis recovery. Huntington’s Disease Team Home Walk

Saturday, Oct. 12, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., Cranes Roost, Altamonte Springs. The Huntington’s Disease Society of America (HDSA) is excited to announce the 2024 Orlando Team Hope Walk. Team Hope Walk events represent the largest local opportunity for members of the HD community to come together with friends, family & neighbors to raise awareness & funds to support HDSA.  Proceeds from Team Hope support the mission and programs of HDSA, the premier nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of everyone affected by Huntington’s disease.
