Saturday, Oct. 26, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Cranes Roost, Altamonte Springs. Franklin’s Friends is proud to present the eleventh annual HOWL-O-WEEN Dog Walk-a-Thon and Canine Costume Contest. We will have a (much shorter than in years past) dog walk, canine costume contest, adoptable dogs, pet-friendly vendors, music and much more. All proceeds will benefit Franklin’s Friends. Walk, Arts & Crafts Show
Saturday, Nov. 2, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Cranes Roost Park, 274 Cranes Roost Blvd., Altamonte Springs. Join the community in a walk to raise funds for the BASE Camp Children's Cancer Foundation. The Arts & Crafts Show is free to attend, and the walk is $25 per person. Teams are welcome to join, but they must register in advance.
