Special to the Herald
The Rising - Oviedo Cemetery Tour will take place on Sunday, Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. at Oviedo Cemetery (across from Oviedo High School).
Oviedo's Founders will be back from the dead for one magical evening to tell you about what life in Oviedo was like when they were alive. This historical, fact-based portrayal is not scary and is safe for kids. Please bring a flashlight, as the sun will have nearly set by the end of the presentation. This production is completely unique each and every year, and is performed theater-in-the-rounds style. You're sure to learn something, meet great people, past and present, and leave with a better understanding of what makes Oviedo such an amazing community. This free event is produced by The Oviedo Preservation Project, a non-profit dedicated to preserving Oviedo's history.
Park along the street on Aulin Ave. or across the street at Oviedo High School
