Oviedo High School (7-2, 3-0 Class 6A-District 4) had the biggest win of the night as the Lions won their third straight District Championship, but there were seven other local winners in the 12 games played in the final week of district contests for FHSAA programs and the final week of the regular season for Sunshine State Athletic Association (SSAA) clubs.
The week started on Monday with The Geneva School (6-4) and Lake Mary Prep (6-4) winning make-up SSAA 8-Man Football contests for games postponed because of Hurricane Milton and then on Friday, Oviedo, Lake Mary (7-2, 3-0 Class 7A-District 3), Lake Mary Prep _ Again _ Lyman High School (3-6, 1-1 Class 5A-District 5), The Master’s Academy (8-1), Orangewood Christian (6-4), and Seminole (7-2, 2-1 Class 7A-District 3) all picked up victories.

Oviedo 30, Evans 20
Brock Joyce had a huge night, carrying the ball 20 times for 139 yards and three touchdowns as visiting Oviedo held off Evans (5-4, 2-1), 30-20, in a winner-take-all Class 6A-District 4 game.
The Lions’ other top-flight running back, Chance Nixon, also had a big game with 91 yards on 24 carries and a touchdown.

Isaiah Thomas ran for three scores and Noah Grubbs threw for three more as visiting 7A-3 champion Lake Mary jumped out to a 45-0 halftime lead in wrapping up a perfect 3-0 season in district play.
Matthew Krause scored both touchdowns for the Patriots (3-6, 0-3 Class 7A-District 3), taking a flip from another Lake Brantley receiver on a hook-and-lateral play for a 66-yard run and catching 3-yard touchdown pass.

Seminole 42, Hagerty 7
With seven regulars, including both quarterbacks out, visiting Seminole went to a single-wing attack and cruised past homesteading Hagerty (5-4, 1-2 in Class 7A-District 3), 42-7, at Sam Momery Stadium.
Running back Anthony Gay III made a quick study of the play book and directed the Fighting Seminoles attack to perfection, completing all four of his pass attempts for 124 yards and two touchdowns to Devin Voltaire, who caught three passes for 120 yards.
But it was the running game that was extremely impressive, running for 373 yards on 48 attempts with four touchdowns.
Gay led the way, carrying the ball 17 times for 176 yards and scoring three more touchdowns.
Rodney Grant III scored the other rushing touchdown, carrying the ball seven times for 85 yards. Khamani Robinson carried the ball 11 times for 58 yards and Kemahri Freeman and De’Shawn Watkins chipped in with 28- and 26-yards, respectively.

Visiting Lyman shocked a Winter Springs (5-3, 0-2 in Class 5A-District 5) club that had been playing very well this season.
Greyhounds quarterback Caleb Nyenkan was 6-for-13 passing for 118 yards and carried the ball 12 times for 105 yards and two touchdowns.
Treavon Dorr added a pair of scoring runs and Davarian Jefferson added a fifth touchdown run.

* Tre Roach threw for a 41-yard touchdown to Grayson Hilinski and carried the ball nine times for 125-yards and five touchdowns in leading Orangewood Christian to a 48-0 skunking of Cornerstone Charter Academy (7-3).
Tyson Bowie also ran for 105 yards on 19 carries and Jackson Hudspeth carried the ball twice for 51 yards and a touchdown.
* Freshman quarterback Jackson Stecher was 14-for-18 passing for 225-yards and five touchdowns as The Master’s Academy humbled Duval Charter (2-8) from Jacksonville, 48-6.
