Ali’s Hope - Glassful of Hope 

Thursday, Nov. 7, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Cranes Roost Park, 274 Cranes Roost Blvd., Altamonte Springs. Join Ali's Hope Foundation for an evening of life, laughter, happiness and above all, HOPE. The Glassful of Hope event supports a mission to improve the quality of life for adolescents and young adults living with mental health concerns. This evening features an all-you- can-eat-and-drink dinner and wine menu, auctions, raffles and more. Let's come together to inspire hope and build awareness through education, support and advocacy. Autism Speaks

The Autism Speaks Walk raises funds to enhance the lives of people with autism today & accelerate a spectrum of soutions for tomorrow. This event brings together people with autism & the parents, grandparents, siblings, friends, relatives & providers who support them. Proceeds help fuel innovative research & connect participants to critical, life- long support & services. The event includes fun activities for families. Food is avail- able for purchase. Museum of Geneva    History

There are 2 large rooms full of such things as local archaeological finds, pioneer crafts, Ft. Lane search team finds, family genealogical records, Civil War info., and a violano & Edison cylinder player (both play). Learn about the story of Geneva and the Lincoln Conspiracy. Buy T-shirts, caps, prints &  history books.

Casselberry Food & Wine Festival

Monday, Nov. 11, 6 to 9 p.m., Lake Concord, 123 Quail Pond Circle, Casselberry. Join the Casselberry Chamber of Commerce for a night of food, drinks & entertainment. Brigitte Stephenson to speak 

Tuesday, Nov. 12, 7 p.m., IFAS Auditorium, 250 W. County Home Rd., Sanford. Presentation/Speaker wil be Brigitte Stephenson about “Tennis from Baseballs, Sports in Sanford & Seminole County. speaking to the Seminole County Historical Society in a very unique presentation about how the city of Sanford has always had a fascination with sports, from the “Celery City Tennis Club” of the 1890s, to Tim “The Rock” Raines, a Sanfordite recently inducted into the baseball hall of fame.
