Pet of the Week: Dewey

Pet of the Week: Dewey

Dewey is a 2-year-old mix with a heart as big as his hopes. Over the past year, he’s been in and out of the shelter, waiting for a family to see just how special he is. Despite his tough luck, Dewey hasn’t lost his loving spirit or his dream of finding a home where he can truly belong. This sweet boy has so much love to give but would prefer to be your one-and-only. Dewey thrives in an environment where he can soak up all the attention. We think he would be best suited for a home without any other pets. Fully up to date on his vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative and neutered, Dewey is ready to walk out the door and into your heart the very same day you adopt him. With a little patience and a lot of love, he’s sure to be the loyal companion you’ve been searching for. Dewey dreams of trading the shelter for the warmth of a family and a cozy spot by your side. Can you make his wish come true? Adoptions are open Monday through Friday from 12–6 PM and Saturday from 10 AM–4 PM at 232 Eslinger Way in Sanford. Visit seminolecountypets.com to learn more about Dewey and other adoptable pets. Give Dewey the gift of a loving home this holiday season, and gain a lifelong friend in return. Let’s make this his happiest holiday yet!
