Thanksgiving Poem “Grateful” by Lewis Alexander
Grateful
1 Timothy 4:4
Stuffed bellies, happy cheer,
Turkey coma draws near.
Family gathers, laughter too,
Grateful for stretch pants, phew!
Memories made, loved ones dear,
Casserole wars, no need to fear.
Pumpkin pie and snoring galore,
Thanksgiving magic, memories galore!
Amidst clutter, chaos reigns,
God's goodness shines through, even gravy stains? "For everything created by God is good" Let's give thanks, and seconds, as we should!
Happy Thanksgiving!
