Sanford’s 2024 Holiday Tour of Homes

Sanford’s 2024 Holiday Tour of Homes

From Staff Reports and Press Releases

Celebrate the charm and elegance of the season at the 35th Annual Holiday Tour of Homes on December 7, from 12 to 9 p.m.  This is a cherished tradition that transforms our town into a festive wonderland. This self-guided walking tour is set against the backdrop of two of Sanford’s most beautiful neighborhoods, Mayfair and the Historic District, and invites guests to explore a curated selection of beautifully decorated homes. Each home will be adorned with unique holiday cheer and seasonal splendor. From quaint historic cottages to more modern designs, the tour showcases exquisite holiday decor, architectural treasures, and the rich history of Sanford. Guests will delight in the warm, inviting atmosphere, enjoy sweet treats, and have the opportunity to meet local artisans and community members at the Holiday Market located in Magnolia Square. Join us for an unforgettable celebration of the season and the timeless beauty of Sanford.

Please plan to begin your day at the Sanford Museum to receive your wristband and program. This year, our tour is spread out, so be sure to plan accordingly. There will be a free trolley making stops along the route. We will also have volunteers with golf carts to help connect you from each trolley stop to each home if needed. We do not encourage you to walk from Mayfair to the Historic District. Please utilize the provided transportation and park your car in a designated parking lot (parking map to come!). Alternatively, golf carts are welcome! Make sure to visit the Holiday Market this year in collaboration with Project Sanford. It will surely provide you with a spectacular selection of uniquely festive treasures.

Ticket cost is $30 per person, $15 for children ages 6-12. Wristbands and a tour map must be picked up at Sanford Museum before beginning the tour. Please be advised that not all homes are handicap accessible and many have stairs. This event is rain or shine.

Project Sanford will also host a Holiday Market in Magnolia Square during their event hours. Participating homes are currently.
