Special to the Herald
Waste Pro is thrilled to announce its exclusive service partnership with the University of Central Florida, one of the largest universities in the US, for all campus solid waste and recycling services. This landmark partnership not only ensures efficient waste management on the UCF campus but also significantly contributes to the University's sustainability goals. The company is pleased to support the UCF Knights and The Kingdom NIL (Name, Image and Likeness), LLC, the Official NIL of UCF Athletics, with a custom-wrapped front-end loader truck that customers will see both on campus and serving other commercial customers throughout the Orlando metro area. Waste Pro is the sole service provider for all services on campus, including residential and commercial services, for the next seven years, with additional years available for renewal.
The University of Central Florida, located in Orlando, Florida, is the largest university by enrollment in Florida and one of the largest universities in the nation. With over 69,000 students, UCF offers a wide range of programs with a strong emphasis on research and innovation. We are proud of the many Waste Pro employees and family members who have attended and graduated from the University.
Regional Vice President Erik Sankey is very excited about the partnership and the truck: “Waste Pro is excited to unveil the new truck with custom branding. This might be the coolest truck graphics I have encountered during my years in the industry. It is a fun and unique way to utilize our moving billboards (collection trucks) to showcase community partnerships throughout our footprint.”
