Seminole Charter School Students Win Big at Robotics Event

Seminole Science Charter School’s VEX robotics team, the Stingbots Titans, has earned a spot in the CREATE U.S. Open Robotics National Championship. Elementary school students Abhinav, Arjun, Kushal, Lokmen and Thomas qualified for the event when they placed second overall in the teamwork challenge during a November competition and are now fundraising to get to the championships in Iowa next March. In addition to this win, the middle school group, the Stingbots Beans, earned the Build Award at the same tournament.

This shows how nurturing a child’s love of STEM from a young age can guide them right to success.
