Craft beer and wine lovers, mark your calendars. Otter Fest is back at Wekiva Island on Jan. 25.
The yearly celebration of all things beer and wine will allow guests to enjoy countless sips and samples from 12 breweries and four wineries. There will also be a seltzer station and non-alcoholic samples to try. The event will run from 2 to 5 p.m. at Wekiva Island, with VIP ticketholder early admission at 1 p.m.
“We take beer and wine seriously at Wekiva Island,” said Carrie Vanderhoef, manager. “Otter Fest is always a super fun event for us, and we love seeing attendees learn more about their beverages, make connections with the breweries and wineries, and find new favorites.”
Tickets are $55 for general admission and $75 for VIP. VIP tickets include access to the VIP-only cabanas, the chance to sip taproom-only releases, and the chance to enjoy exclusive beers from five breweries, paired with gourmet bites.
The event, in its seventh year, is 21+ only. It takes its name from the onsite bar, The Tooting Otter, as well as the spectacular riverside location. The onsite food truck, Without a Paddle Café, will have specials and its regular menu available for purchase.
The lineup includes: 3 Daughters Brewing, Blue Springs Brewing, Central 28 Beer Co., Dees Brothers Brewery, Golden Road Brewing, Goose Island Beer Co., Ormond Brewing Co., SweetWater Brewing Co., Southern Tier Brewing, Victory Brewing, Wop’s Hops Brewing, Wicked Weed Brewing, Nutrl, Surfside, 101 North Winery, Sunshine Bliss Winery, Foxhorn Winery and. Yosemite Winery.
The sober station for those celebrating Dry January includes Once Upon a Coconut Water,Hop Water, Golden Road N/A and Ultra 0.0. Tickets are available at wekivaisland.com.
