Bertha Dennis

Bertha Dennis, 75, of Sanford, Fl passed away on November 15, 2023 to go be with Her Lord and Savior.

Bertha was born on July 12, 1948 to Eva Dennis in Brinson, Georgia.  After Bertha graduated from Crooms Academy in 1966, she went on to study Business Administration at Seminole Junior College.  After graduating with a degree in Business Administration, she started her first and only job at Farmer's Home Administration (USDA) as an Administrator Assistant and was able to retire.

Bertha was predeceased by Eva Jackson Dennis (Mother); Willie Mae Capers and Katherine Williams Pearson (Sisters); Freddie "Uncle Dan" Dennis, Clayton Dennis, and Leroy Jackson (Brothers), Shirley Capers Rivers, Kathryn Williams Roberson, and Betty Pearson and a host of other family members.  She is survived by her only child Stevin Dennis Sr. (Son), Stevin Dennis Jr., Towan Dennis, Stekesha Dennis, and Stevon Dennis (Grandchildren); Kiley and Kaley (Great-granddaughters) all of Sanford, Fl., Regina Washington (Step-daughter) Deltona, Fl., Jimmy Washington (Step-son) Sanford, Fl., Lillian William Collins, Geneva, NY, Henrietta (George) Pearson Brown, Cairo, GA, Major Lydia Pearson, Chestnut Ridge, NY, Bridgette Davison Jackson, and Suzanne "Twiggy" June, Sanford, Fl., Alexzina Coar, Winter Haven, Fl., Cynthia Capers, Kimberly Capers (Nieces), Donald Williams Bronx, NY, Charlie (Mary Louise) Williams Jr. Webster, NY, Dr. Craig Merkerson Kansas City, MO (nephews) and a host of other nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held at Christening Fellowship Baptist on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 11AM and the viewing on Friday, December1, 2023, 4-6p.  Professional services are entrusted to Gail & Wynn's Mortuary, 1300 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando, FL  32805.
